My JournalWhat's New As far as work goes, nothing. Still working two jobs that are extremely demanding. All I do anymore is sleep and work lol. One of these have to give soon but I'm a tad scared to actually quit...probably because I've never done it before. I find myself just sitting behind the register getting yelled at by some old man about how he can't return an item because he threw away the receipt and it's like you want to tell him "What's the point of us giving you a receipt in the first place if you think you can bring stuff back without it!?" but you only smile, silently begging for a criminal to come busting in, hold you (safely) at gun point and robbing the store, giving me an understandable reason to say "Screw this, I'm going home!"
Lol, but I'm a lot of talk.
Some more news is I think I'm destined to a life of catching the bus lol. A few weeks ago me and my mom, my good friend and her 4 month old son were in a bad wreck when some reckless driver came sliding into our lane and destroying the whole side of my grandpa's truck. Thank God, we all walked away from the crash but I feel horrible that my friend's baby was put into such a position and my mom lost a big peice of my dearly departed grandpa when they couldn't save the truck. But a truck is a truck, and we are all just thankful we made it out without a scratch. But now it seems like all vechicles are out to get me. I've almost been struck twice now since the accident and now I'm just not interested in getting behind the wheel anytime soon lol. But I'm hoping this feeling will pass soon and I'll be able to get on with my life lol.
Also, I'm sure you all know by my photo's, Bailey and Bruno became the proud parents of 12 lil wee bees! They were born the night of August 31st, Bailey did wonderful and barely bled a drop. The pups are growing up fast but I'm a tad disapointed to see their all going to be black and white...Which is the color I was trying very hard to stay away from lol. But that doesn't change a thing about how happy I am to have them in my world! I'm just thankful Bruno could still produce...let alone have enough for 12 kids!
I know I haven't been uploading pics on a daily basis with my work and all, but I promise to keep playing catch up with photos! I plan on keeping 1 or maybe even two pups from this litter so I'll be needing boy and girl names that start with the letter B. So far I have a Bruno, Benjamen, Boris, Baxter, Bailey, and Bonnie. If anyone has any cute B names to speak of, let me know!
Please Keep In Your Prayers
On Tuesday, July 20th, my grandmother (My Mamaw) suffered a massive stroke and was rushed to ICU. I was informed of this while at work and of course quickly left to the hospital with little hopes of a good outcome. My mamaw has seemed to have health issues since I can remember. She just got out of the hospital last fall from a terrible ordeal with septic shock and double pneumonia. We didn't think she'd surivive that but pulled through with flying colors.
We didn't think she'd be strong enough to do it twice, but so far she's proved us all wrong. At this time, my mamaw is making a fast recovery! She able to move all her limbs (Which is a miracle since the doctors first told us she will most likely be paralyzed on her right side) and is eatting on her own. She is also fully alert and seems to recognize everyone...The only thing is she is still unable to talk. I know it will take a while and alot of therapy for her to fully recover but I still ask everyone to keep her in your thoughts and prayers as I and everyone in our family has been. I'll update this when I find out more about how she's doing and recovering!
Thanks everyone!
~*~UPDATE~*~
Well, my grandmother has been thru alot since my last journal post. After spending time in the hospital they moved her to a nursing home for recovery. There, my grandmother became extremely depressed. She spent most of her time in the bed, lights out, curtain closed, and refused to eat. We were all extremely worried for her, especially when we got a call that she had been rushed to the hospital because they found her passed out in the bathroom.
They found out she had some internal bleeding from ulcers and thankfully got everything under control in time. My grandma made a complete turn around in her behavor now that she was out of the nursing home...I think being in that enviorment is what upset her the most. She's been at the hospital now for a few weeks and actually gets to come home today which I'm extremely anxious to hear how things are going. I'm hoping her being at home with help alot with her spirit and they will be having a nurse come every day to help with therapy and help her learn to talk once again!
